Gatimaan Express to slow down as its route is extended

Gatimaan Express, India’s fastest train which runs at a speed of 160 kmph will now slow down as its route is extended. The train will now run at a speed of 130 kmph. The route is extended to Gwalior and Jhansi. The train will run at the speed of 130 kmph in the new route. The route is fit for only 130 kmph so the train will have to run at 130 kmph. The train’s extended route can begin any day but the process is stuck as the officials are still discussing the fare pattern. The present fare of travelling in an executive class is Rs. 1505 and for an AC chair car is Rs. 755 between Delhi and Agra. Gatimaan Express has great features like : bio-toilets, fire alarms, GPS based passenger information system, automatic sliding doors and free Wi-Fi service. The decision was taken to utilise the time of the train, the train reaches Agra in the morning and remains stationed there all the time. Now, it will go to Jhansi at the same time.
